This role leads the Data and Analytics team at NTUC First Campus, and reports to the Director, Strategic Finance.

We are seeking a strategic and results-driven Senior Manager, Data and Analytics, to lead our data strategy, governance, and analytics initiatives and oversee the Data and Analytics team in NTUC First Campus. In this role, you will ensure the effective collection, management, and utilisation of data to create business value and meet business needs for data reporting and insights.


Job Responsibilities:
In particular, you will support the Director, Strategic Finance, in:

  • Developing dashboards and reports required for business analysis and customer insights
  • Partnering business users to identify high-impact business challenges and opportunities, and develop innovative data solutions to drive business success
  • Translating complex business requirements into data solutions that yield actionable strategies
  • Coaching and mentoring a team of data engineering and analysts
  • Partnering with business units and corporate departments to help them become more data-driven through awareness raising, showcasing of success stories, as well as equipping and enabling digitalisation initiatives. This includes empowering end users to actively engage with and leverage data analytics in their own decision-making processes.
  • Designing and implementing a scalable, secure, and efficient data infrastructure that supports the organization’s analytics, reporting, and decision-making needs. This includes overseeing data pipelines, storage, and processing frameworks to ensure seamless data accessibility and performance.
  • Co-driving data governance efforts with the Risk Management team, establishing policies and best practices for data quality, security, compliance and ethical data usage.

 

Job Requirements:

  • At least 8 years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or a related field.
  • 3 to 5 years in a managerial role, leading data teams, analytics projects, and stakeholder engagement
  •  Ability to align data strategy with business goals
  • Proficient in stakeholder management, and cross-functional collaboration
  • Strong ability to present insights to executives and non-technical stakeholders
  • Experience driving data-driven transformation in an organization
  • Familiarity with cloud technologies, e.g. Google Cloud Platform using Cloud Composer, GCE/GKE, Google Data Studio, and Big Query.
  • Strong SQL and Python skills with experience in deploying data engineering and machine learning pipelines preferred.
  • Adept in data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, Looker) to drive data-driven decision-making.
  • Strong understanding of data science concepts and its application in business decision making or workflows.
  • Exhibits a strong practical understanding of data governance practices.
  • Undergraduate or Postgraduate degrees (B.Sc. or M.Sc.) in Business Analytics, Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics or related discipline.
  • Affinity for family-related services in the education sector. Prior experience in the
    education sector is a plus.
