Responsibilities:
- Provide support on well-being (e.g. hygiene) of Kidstart children in designated Kidstart centres
- Take action on Kidstart children who have irregular attendance
- Foster good relationships with all Kidstart families
- Engage Kidstart families to attend centre activities and parenting workshops
- Deepen support for Kidstart children and families who are at risk, including:
- Attend case conference
- Conduct home visits
- Assist with application of relevant subsidies and assistance
- Link up families with relevant community resources
- Work closely with Principals, Teachers, other Child Support Services colleagues and Social Workers to assist Kidstart children and families
- Form a network of community partners (e.g. FSCs, SSOs) to support Kidstart children and families
- Achieve ECDA's Kidstart KPI for the designated centres
- Narrate case stories on how Child Support Model has made a difference to children and families
Requirements:
- Recognized Diploma in Sociology, Social Work, Psychology or Early Childhood Education
- At least 3 years of working experience in social or preschool sector
- Passionate about supporting low income children and families
- Good spoken and written English. Bilingual will be an advantage
- Have initiative, and able to work independently and yet be a good team player
- Exercise discretion and maintain confidentiality
