About the Role
We are a Social Enterprise that is seeking for a highly motivated & driven professional in corporate development. You will provide support for the development and implementation of the corporate strategy. This includes analysing departmental plans, making proposals and presentations, and monitoring timelines and deliverables. You will also conduct research and analysis of relevant corporate and operational data for evidence-based performance management and continual improvement. You will be involved in cross-collaboration projects with strategic impact for the organisation. This role has growth potential from its involvement with strategic matters of the organisation and its close touchpoints with senior management.


Job Responsibilities:
● Support corporate planning activities, which include the organisation and facilitation of regular discussions, workshops and planning retreats for board of directors and senior management
● Provide secretariat support for senior management engagements, including weekly management meetings
● Monitor progress of strategic initiatives and Balanced Scorecard KPIs for regular reporting to senior management and board of directors
● Gather, analyse and organise information through industry research and market analysis to inform strategy development
● Assist in the annual planning and budgeting cycle with key responsibilities such as planning the budget meetings, coordination with stakeholders for planning inputs & materials, minting the meetings and presenting the key outcomes / trends to the management
● Participate in strategic projects that will support the organisation in achieving its vision
● Collaborate closely with senior management and internal departments for alignment of strategic projects, and to expand the social impact across the organisation and beyond
● Manage knowledge management, including the relevant systems and procedures, and administrative duties for the department

 

Job Requirements:
● Excellent interpersonal communication skills, verbal and written
● Able to work independently and a good team player
● Capable of multi-tasking
● Helicopter mindset - able to look at the broader picture as well as zoom into details and be hands-on where required
● Confident and comfortable in engaging stakeholders of all levels
● Experience with corporate planning work such as BSC and minute taking
● Strategic-minded, proactive and thrives in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
● 2 to 3 years of proven track record with relevant experience in corporate planning and strategic project roles
● A recognised degree in business, economics, engineering or finance
● Strong proficiency in Google Workspace and visualisation tools such as Data Studio and Tableau
● Knowledge on markets and competitors in the early childhood development sector is a plus
