We are seeking a highly skilled and data-driven Senior Marketing Executive to manage and optimise our digital marketing campaigns. In this role, you will be responsible for planning, executing, and optimising both organic and paid search strategies to drive qualified traffic, increase conversions, and maximise ROI.


You should also be organised and results-driven. You will act as the primary liaison between our internal team and external SEO and SEM media agencies. The ideal candidate will oversee the execution of search strategies, ensuring that the efforts of our SEO and SEM partners align with our overall business objectives. This role requires strong communication and project management skills, as well as a solid understanding of search marketing best practices.


Job Responsibilities:
1) Agency Management:

  • Act as the primary point of contact between the company and external SEO and SEM agencies, ensuring clear and consistent communication.
  • Manage the workflow and collaboration with agencies, ensuring all campaigns are delivered on time and meet performance goals.
  • Brief agencies on campaign objectives, KPIs, target audiences, and brand guidelines to ensure alignment with overall marketing strategies.
  • Review and provide feedback on the agency’s SEO/SEM strategies, plans, reports, and creatives.


2) SEO and SEM Campaign Overview

  • Collaborate with agencies to develop and implement on-page and off-page SEO strategies, focusing on optimising content, backlinks, and technical performance.
  • Work closely with SEM agencies to manage paid search campaigns across platforms (e.g., Google Ads), ensuring they are optimised for maximum ROI.
  • Review and approve keyword strategies, ad copy, landing pages, and bidding strategies for paid search campaigns.
  • Ensure that SEO and SEM initiatives are integrated with broader digital marketing strategies and support business goals.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest SEO trends and algorithm updates.


3) Performance Tracking & Reporting:

  • Monitor the performance of SEO and SEM campaigns, using tools like Google Analytics, Search Console, and agency-provided dashboards.
  • Regularly review key performance indicators (KPIs) such as organic traffic, ranking improvements, cost-per-click (CPC), cost-per-acquisition (CPA), and conversion rates.
  • Analyse campaign performance, prepare internal reports, and provide actionable insights and recommendations to both internal stakeholders and agencies.
  • Ensure agencies meet performance benchmarks and adhere to agreed-upon timelines and budgets.

4) Collaboration & Communication:

  • Work with internal teams, including content, product, and design teams, to ensure SEO/SEM efforts are consistent with other digital marketing campaigns.
  • Facilitate cross-functional collaboration to implement recommendations from SEO and SEM agencies (e.g., content optimisation, technical fixes, landing page development).
  • Conduct regular meetings with agencies to review campaign progress, address challenges, and refine strategies based on performance data.


5) Budget & Contract Management:

  • Manage SEO and SEM campaign budgets, ensuring efficient allocation of resources across channels and platforms.
  • Negotiate contracts and deliverables with agencies, ensuring cost-effectiveness and alignment with business needs.
  • Track and report on monthly budget spending, identifying any areas of concern or overspend.

 

Job Requirements:

  • Proven experience (3+ years) in SEO and SEM, with a strong track record of driving organic traffic and managing successful paid campaigns.
  • Proficiency in using SEO and SEM tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, etc.
  • Strong understanding of search marketing best practices, including keyword research, content optimisation, and paid search management.
  • Excellent project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple agency relationships and campaigns simultaneously.
  • Strong analytical skills and experience interpreting SEO and SEM performance data.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present findings and recommendations to stakeholders.
