An internship with the Corporate Development team at NTUC First Campus may be interesting for you if you would like to:
- Gain an understanding of an organisation's Corporate Planning functions: Corporate secretariat, annual planning and budgeting, balanced scorecard, market intelligence
- Gain understanding of the Early Childhood sector, globally and in Singapore, and the forces affecting it
- Develop a strategic thinking toolbox through the development of new business concepts
Job Responsibilities:
- Support corporate planning activities, which include corporate secretariat support for senior management engagements, the organisation and facilitation of regular discussions for senior management, and monitoring the progress of strategic initiatives and Balanced Scorecard KPIs for regular reporting
- Gather, analyse and organise information through industry research and market analysis and make recommendations on how the findings impact the sector and organisation
- Conceptualization to pilot (where possible) of new business concepts: Desk research, ideation, financial modelling, operational hands-on pilot planning and execution
- Support Strategy and Transformation projects and organise team bonding activities
Job Requirements:
- Open to universities or polytechnic studies, preferably in business-related or analytical studies, not restricted to schools in Singapore
- Minimum 4-month internship period, ideally at least 6 months
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills, verbal and written
- Able to work independently and a good team player
- Proactive and thrives in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, with the ability to multi-task
