Job Responsibilities

Corporate Planning - Leading the Corporate Development team to:
Strategise and execute corporate planning cycles and sessions for internal & external stakeholders - Corporate secretariat, work plans and budgeting, balanced scorecard
Collaborate closely with and support senior management to identify, envision, formulate action plans and realise business opportunities and goals
Provide market intelligence to senior management by sourcing, extracting, analysing and synthesising information, proposing and presenting insights to relevant stakeholders
Coordinate strategic planning activities, including the organisation and facilitation of regular discussions, workshops and corporate planning retreats for the board of directors and senior management of the enterprise
Monitor progress of strategic initiatives and Group KPIs with key stakeholders
Strategy & Transformation - Coordinating with cross-functional teams to drive Strategy & Transformation projects:
Collaborate closely with senior management teams and internal departments for alignment of strategic projects to expand social impact in the group
Develop strategic proposals on potential new offerings
Facilitate and track the implementation / adoption of potential new offerings. Initial stages may require more hands-on involvement and partnership with other stakeholders as part of change management process
Plan and organise project reviews including timeline management, stakeholder engagement, meeting coordination and tracking of project progress and deliverables

 

Requirement

A recognised degree in Business, Economics or Engineering
Postgraduate professional qualifications such as MBA will be preferred
Minimum 10-15 years of relevant experience in corporate planning, innovation, change management, project management, new business development and process improvement. Experience in the education sector will likely be useful but is not a prerequisite for this role.

Strong stakeholder management skills
Strong communication and presentation skills
Excellent analytical, advocacy and project management skills, capable of managing multiple concurrent projects across business areas
Ability to lead and motivate cross-functional team members
Strong team player with effective consensus-building skills
Proficiency with Google Productivity Suite, such as Slides, Sheets and Docs
Knowledge of LEAN / Six Sigma / AGILE / design thinking methodologies preferred
