The Assistant Manager/Senior Executive, Leadership & Talent Management plays a key role in the design, planning and execution of the “Growing NFC Leaders” talent system at NTUC First Campus (NFC).
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Play a key role in driving the Talent Management & Succession Planning activities at NFC
- Support the talent identification process, including communication and education of stakeholders, to ensure that the talent list is accurate and updated
- Responsible for the development and maintenance of Talent Cards
- Support in the identification of stretch projects/ task forces as well as the deployment of talents to these projects
- Preparation, analysis and reporting of key metrics to Senior Management
- Support in the preparation of materials for key meetings such as Estab Committee, Talent Committee and Management Committee meetings
- Responsible for the MA (Corp & EDU) scheme
- Identify, organise and plan outreach activities to attract new candidates onto NFC's MA schemes
- Coordinate and conduct candidate assessment and selection to ensure that the right candidates are chosen for the scheme
- Conduct on-boarding of MAs and ensure that MAs are regularly engaged by the L&T team as well as senior leaders
- Support the performance management, career planning and deployment to ensure they done in an effective manner to grow our MAs
- Business Partner to MAs
- Support Employee Engagement/ Org Development Activities
- Contribute to key employee engagement/ org development activities such as the employee engagement survey, Leaders Town Hall and engagement sessions, etc
Required Skills/Abilities:
- HR generalist skills – to work with the other sections (Talent Acquisition, Business Partnering, Employee Engagement and Rewards & Recognition) within the HR department to implement the NFC Talent System.
- Collaborative leadership – working with various leadership stakeholders to steer overall talent development strategies.
- Data analysis – the ability to collect, gather, and analyse data and present concise actionable results to support Talent decisions..
- Program management – oversee the delivery of development programs and manage multiple resources to achieve objectives.
- Talent Development Design – ability to design talent development roadmaps.
- Public speaking and Presentation Skills – must be able to clearly present to engage senior leadership members on the Talent agenda as well as the ability to engage with the corporate talents on a larger group setting.
- Communication skills – building strong relationships is a must-have skill to connect with fellow leaders and employees.
- Writing skills – the ability to undertake Talent Committee Secretariat role as well as synthesize their findings to produce written reports and training materials.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, Education, Communications or a related field
- At least 2 years of Talent Management experience and/or 5 years of HR experience with keen interest in Talent Management
- Experience designing and implementing effective training and development programs will be considered favourably.
