Job Responsibilities:

 

1. Enterprise Risk Management

  1. Develop, implement and maintain the NFC’s ERM framework, policies and procedures.

  2. Identify potential risks, evaluate the impact across the organisation, and engage risk owners to develop appropriate controls and tracking metrics to mitigate and monitor the risks.

  3. Work with Business Units and functions to ensure timely preparation, analysis and reporting of risks to the stakeholders.

  4. Roll out risk management solution that allow for an efficient and effective enterprise risk management program

  5. Drive and promote a strong risk culture in the organisation by developing training and staff communications

  6. Provide secretarial support for Risk Management Committee and Audit Risk Committee meetings

2. Data Governance

  1. Support the implementation of an enterprise wide data governance framework which includes developing policies and standards, principles, governance metrics, processes, related tools and data architecture

  2. Support the Data Protection Officer in the planning, execution and delivery of personal data protection initiatives

  3. Provide secretariat support for regular Data Governance Committee meeting 

  4. Promote data governance/ protection culture in the organisation by developing training and staff communications. 

 

3. Control Self Assessment

  1. Support in rolling out the Control Self-Assessment programme for the organisation by onboarding more processes into the programme

  2. Facilitate the Control Self-Assessment programme to support the training and control attestation to key stakeholders, and perform verifications on the self-assessments.

 

 

Job Requirements

  1. Bachelor's Degree
  2. 4-5 years of relevant experience in developing and maintaining risk management, data governance and control self-assessment frameworks

  3. Process-oriented and problem-solving attitude as well as strong organisational skills with hands-on mentality

  4. Excellent interpersonal, communication and influencing skills to work with cross functional stakeholders of varying seniority  

  5. Experience in drafting and implementing policies and procedures

  6. Team player with a positive, pragmatic, flexible and creative approach.

  7. Experience in selecting, rolling out and maintaining risk management software tools is an advantage
