Job Description & Responsibilities

We are looking for a candidate who is passionate about the pre-school sector and wants to make a difference in inspiring young lives. This position resides within the Brand, Communications and Marketing Department and the candidate is required to support the following:

  • Strategy Development and Execution: Assist in developing and executing an integrated communication plans/campaigns for new programmes/services etc., leveraging on traditional and online media to positively project the brand image and business objectives of the company. These include supporting the creation of communication materials for media/social media, organising media events/briefings as well as providing administrative and logistical support
  • Media Relations: Proactive attitude in handling media monitoring and queries; seek out opportunities and pitch stories for positive PR exposure; and cultivate media relations
  • Issues/Crisis Management: Work with cross-functional departments to support issues/crisis management
  • Content Creation: Ability to create interesting and compelling content for media, social media, website and annual report to maximize PR outreach 
  • Stakeholder Management: Provide communications support and PR counsel to stakeholders such as key leaders during media related activities and manage customer communications when necessary. These include crafting talking points, speeches, letters, and other relevant communications materials


Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, preferably in communications, public relations, marketing
  • Experience in media or communications industry with minimum 5 years working experience
  • Experience in supporting the conceptualizing and executing of PR campaigns, demonstrating successful outcomes
  • Experience in social media management
  • Excellent speaking and writing proficiency, with the ability to develop communication materials in an impactful and clear manner
  • Has contacts with traditional and online media, ideally from the education or parenting beat and experience engaging them
  • Has knowledge on media and digital media trends and opportunities
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to comprehend subjects of varying complexity
  • Good storyteller and ability to think outside the box
  • Enthusiastic team player who can work well with cross-functional departments, media, and other stakeholders
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment and manage tight deadlines
  • Ability to create content for media, social media and website through design, photography and video production will have an added advantage
  • Knowledge of Google Analytics to evaluate metrics e.g., traffic/views to Annual Report is appreciated
