Assistant Manager, Centre Operations

Supporting the Centre Principal, the Assistant Operations Manager will be involved in Estate and Landscape Management, Health, Safety and Security, Logistics Support and Staff Management ror Centre Support Staff.



Estate and Landscape Management:

  • Oversee landscape plans and maintenance of campus facilities
  • Reviewing and maintaining security and safety of Centre premises and property


Health, Safety and Security

  • Ensure fire, life and safety regulations and procedures are implemented according to requirements
  • Management of disease outbreak
  • Review and maintain safety and security of campus’s premises, including carpark
  • Oversee and manage semi-commercial Kitchen Operations with Chef\
  • Oversee campus’s cleanliness, hygiene and security


Logistics Support

  • Monitor day-to-day operations of the campus
  • Liaise with architect, main and sub-contractors, vendors/suppliers
  • Supervises requisitions of centre operational equipment/items and toiletries.\
  • Ensure adherence to standard government and organization’s policy and procedures; participate in annual financial audit process by providing documentation as needed to auditors
  • Manage purchasing processes by placing orders with vendors, tracking delivery and maintaining inventory
  • Manage food and transportation services by coordinating with service providers/vendors and overseeing deliveries
  • Provide logistics support for school activities and community outreach events
  • To coordinate the purchase, repair and maintenance of all furniture, equipment and fittings


Management of Centre Support Staff

  • Supervise Chef and a team of centre support staff ie Centre Attendants, Security Officers etc
  • Responsible for planning weekly work schedule for centre support staff



  • Diploma in any discipline; at least 3 years of relevant work experience
  • Individuals without a diploma but with relevant experience and expertise are welcome to apply
  • Dynamic with good organising abilities, interpersonal and communication skills
